সময়ের চক্র ঘুরে মাস দেড়েক পরে বিশ্ব মুসলিমের জীবনে আসবে আরেকটি পবিত্র ঈদুল আজহা। আনন্দ উৎসবে মেতে ওঠবে গোটা মুসলিম জগত। কাড়ি কাড়ি অর্থের নির্মম বিলাসিতা দেখবে প্রকৃতি। আতশবাজির ভারি শব্দ—উল্লাসে কেঁপে ওঠবে শহরগুলো।
ঈদকে ঘিরে চারদিকে শোনা যাবে— ঈদ মানে আনন্দ ঈদ মানে খুশি। মুখে মুখে থাকবে সম্প্রীতি আর আনন্দ ভাগাভাগির বার্তা। কিন্তু বাংলাদেশের প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলে কেউ ঈদ আনন্দ ভাগাভাগি করবে না। সেখানে অঞ্চলজুড়ে বিরাজ করবে বিষাদের ছায়া। বনী আদমের মুখে মুখে থাকবে মলিনতার ছাপ। অবুঝ সন্তানের মুখে এক টুকরো গরুর গোশত তুলে দিতে না পারার যন্ত্রণায় জীবন থেকে পালাবার পথ খুঁজবে অগণিত পিতা।
গাযায় যুদ্ধ চলায় জিনিসপত্রের দাম চড়া। তারপরও আমরা মধ্য গাযায় ১০ টি ছাগল কোরবানী দিয়েছি। সেই সাথে মিশরের কায়রো তে অবস্থিত গাযাবাসীদের শরণার্থী শিবিরে ১টি উট, ২টি দুম্বা ও ১টি ভেড়া কোরবানী করি। এছাড়াও গাযায় শিশুদের জন্য নতুন পোশাক এবং তাদের পরিবারের জন্য ঈদ উপহার প্রদান করি। জরুরি গাজা সহায়তার অংশ হিসেবে আপনাদের অর্থ দিয়ে সেন্ট্রাল গাজা, দেইর আলবালা, খান ইউনূস এবং রাফা সহ মিশরে আশ্রয় নেয়া শরনার্থীদের মাঝে গোশত, বাজার সামগ্রী এবং নগদ অর্থ বিতরণ করা হবে ইনশাআল্লাহ।
প্রতি বছরের মতো এবারো বাংলাদেশের উত্তরবঙ্গ ও দক্ষিণবঙ্গ সহ দেশের প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলে টিম হাফেজ্জী পশু কোরবানী করেন সেগুলোর গোস্ত সেসব এলাকার গরিবদের মাঝে বিতরন করে দেয়। এবছর বাংলাদেশে মোট ৮৭টি পশু কোররবানী করা হয়, যার মধ্যে ৪২টি গরু এবং ৪৫টি ছাগল কোরবানী দেয়।
বিগত বছরগুলোতে বিভিন্ন প্রত্যন্ত এলাকা, রোহিঙ্গা ক্যাম্প ও চরাঞ্চলে আমরা প্রতি বছর কুরবানী করে গোশত বিতরণ করেছি। গত বছর অর্থাৎ ২০২৪ এ আমরা লালমনিরহাট, কুড়িগ্রাম, নোয়াখালী সহ প্রায় ছাব্বিশটি জায়গায় পশু কুরবানী করেছি এবং দরিদ্র পরিবারগুলোর মাঝে গোশত বিতরণ করেছি। গত বছর১৭ টি গরু ও ১৬ টি খাশি জবাই করে মোট ২০০০+ পরিবারের মাঝে বিতরণ করেছি আলহামদুলিল্লাহ।

In about a month and a half, the holy Eid-ul-Adha will return to the lives of Muslims around the world. The Muslim world will celebrate with joy and happiness. Many people will spend large amounts of money for enjoyment. Cities will shake with loud fireworks and celebrations.
There will be a celebration in Gaza too—but not by Muslims. The celebration will be done by Zionists. They won’t light fireworks like innocent Muslims. They will drop deadly bombs. Even in the ruins, they will continue their attacks. And sadly, the Muslim world will still enjoy Eid without thinking much about the suffering in Gaza. They will spend money in big shopping malls, buying things at high prices. Their freezers will be full of meat. Extra meat will go to the dustbin. But in Gaza, there is no food or clean water.
Everywhere you’ll hear: “Eid means happiness, Eid means joy.” People will talk about sharing joy and peace. But in remote areas of Bangladesh, no one will really share joy. Instead, sadness will cover those places. Fathers will suffer silently for not being able to give their children even a small piece of meat.
Due to war, prices in Gaza are very high. So we are not collecting money for Wajib Qurbani for Gaza. Instead, we are collecting donations for our Eid Hospitality Project, starting from just BDT 500. You can donate any amount you are able to.
Your donations will help provide meat, food, and cash to people in Central Gaza, Deir al-Balah, Khan Yunis, Rafah, and refugees staying in Egypt, inshaAllah as a part of our regular emergency support in Gaza.
Understanding the pain in Gaza and in poor areas of Bangladesh, Hafezzi Charitable Society—a national, government-registered organization run under the guidance of top Islamic scholars—is organizing a meat distribution and Eid meal project again this year.
On Eid day, inshaAllah, our team will personally be in Egypt to serve the oppressed people of Gaza.
This year, the price for Wajib Qurbani is:
Cow: BDT 91,000 (per share: BDT 13,000)
Goat: BDT 15,000
Over the past years, we have done Qurbani and distributed meat in remote areas, Rohingya camps, and island regions. In 2024, we sacrificed animals in 26 different locations including Lalmonirhat, Kurigram, and Noakhali. We sacrificed 17 cows and 16 goats, and distributed meat to more than 2,000 poor families. Alhamdulillah.
